The Axon: An Atmel-based Robot Microcontroller
John Palmisano of the Society of Robots website writes,

The Axon board has a lot of useful I/O including I2C, SPI, up to 16 ADCs, 9PWM channels, up to 18 interrupts, and 6 timers. A growing collection of software is available for the Axon. It includes 64 KB Flash, 4 KB EEPROM, and 8KB SRAM. The best part is that Axon hardware and software is licensed under the GNU GPL, which assures your right to view, modify, and reuse the technology.
